My friend, Laila, reminded me today that it was exactly a year ago she came to stay with me and the girls. We decided one afternoon we needed to make Christmas truffles. One of my annual traditions, which will be made this weekend. Here are Laila’s chocolate truffles.
Shutter speed 1/26. f-stop f/3.6. ISO 800.
The Tap Room, Cashel Mall, Christchurch. Exactly as it was abandoned on 22 February 2011 at 12.51pm, the time of the 6.3 earthquake. I quickly snapped this photo through the door as my friend, Laila, and I were walking down Cashel Mall to check out the ReStart container mall project. Taken on 4 December 2011. Eerie.
A collection of moments in time from my world. My favourite photos.
I use a Fuji FinePix HS10 HS11 (see www.dpreview.com/products/fujifilm/compacts/fujifilm_hs10). Amazing close-up photos, but the speed in which it processes the photos to memory card is terribly fustrating.
